How to grow plants from seeds

Water the growing media thoroughly after adding the seeds. Turn the pot so that the edge of the growing media stays wet. The media absorbs water efficiently and remains moist creating the optimum growing environment for the seeds. Do not allow the seeds to be covered by too much water.

Add the nutrition tablets once the plants have sprouted out and plants are around 2 cm long. If needed, add only half of the instructed nutrition tablet amount and once the plants have grown stronger, add the instructed amount of nutrition tablets. After this, continue to add the full amount of nutrition tablets as instructed every second week. Check the necessary nutrition amounts from the package label. Change the water regularly every second week.

If growth discontinues or other external signs f. ex. leaves get brown, change the water and add new nutrition tablets as instructed on the package label.

Planting seeds

Plant the seeds into the starter kit’s growing media. Insert seeds directly to the small hole on the media.

Certain plants grow larger with wooden stems while others have thinner tender stems. Plant the seeds according to plant type. As a rule of thumb, plant between three to five (3-5) seeds per media.
